Grambling State has found its new men’s basketball coach.
Multiple reports indicate the Tigers are set to hire former Lamar assistant Joseph Price.
Price, who coached under Pat Knight last season on the Cardinals bench, takes over for Bobby Washington who was reassigned within the university and relieved of his coaching duties March 20.
The Tigers went 4-24 this past season under his watch, playing under a postseason ban and with a reduction in scholarships because of poor scores on the NCAA’s annual Academic Progress Rates report.
