Alabama State to play Alabama A&M in MLK Day Bridge Builder Classic

Birmingham, Ala. — The Southwestern Athletic Conference announced today it is reinstating Alabama State linebacker Leland Baker indefinitely as an official appeal of his one-half game suspension has been filed by officials at Alabama State University with the conference office.  Baker is allowed to participate for the Hornets until the appeal is heard.

The conference announced earlier in the week that it was suspending Baker for the first half of the Hornets game vs. Alabama A&M on October 29 for a flagrant foul committed in ASU’s last game vs. Prairie View A&M on October 15.
