Prairie View vs. Alabama State
I already took on the task of previewing this matchup a few days ago.  It figures to be a great game among division leaders. The Pick: Alabama State 27, Prairie View 24

Jackson State vs. Mississippi Valley State

The Tigers have outscored their last two opponents 106-23.  Mississippi Valley State has the worst point differential in the Southwestern Athletic Conference.  All signs point to a Tigers romp and the Delta Devils searching for their first win in two years. The Pick: Jackson State 40, Mississippi Valley State 17

Concordia (Ala.) vs. Grambling State

Grambling State head coach Doug Williams said he used the bye week to get the kinks worked out in hopes of stopping a four-game losing streak.  Little did he know his team would have two bye weeks to iron out some things against a team that is winless against SWAC opponents this season. The Pick: Grambling 31, Concordia 7

Southern vs. Arkansas-Pine Bluff

The Jaguars have lost four games this season by an average of 4.7 points. In each game the team has had a second half lead.  The Golden Lions, with a win and some help, could find themselves right back in first place in the SWAC Western Division.  The Pick: Arkansas Pine-Bluff 21, Southern 20.

Friday Forecast Record: 19-8.

Jstate fans were very disappointed. They like you thought the Delta Devils would role over 40-50pts. Well jstate didnt score 20 on Valley Defense. A missed extra point and a called back TD and you would have seen a different score. I’m just glad this game was not in Jackson. SWAC officials show there true colors in Jackson, MS
