Grambling and SWAC mourn the loss of SID Roderick Mosley

The Grambling community and the entire SWAC family are mourning the loss of a longtime colleague and friend, Roderick Mosley.

Mosley was the sports information contact for the Tigers and a graduate of Southern University. He also served as the sports information director at Mississippi Valley State in the conference. Mosley was 38 and leaves behind a wife and three children.

Funeral services have been set for Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the Elm Grove Baptist Church in Baton Rouge, La. The service is set for 11:00 a.m.

A viewing is set for Wednesday, September 28 from 5-8 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Dessell Funeral Home, 263 Eddie Robinson, Sr. Drive, Baton Rouge, La. 70802.

Flowers can be sent directly to Dessell Funeral Home, while donations to the family can be sent to 2710 Laurel Street, Baton Rouge, La. 70802.

    this is my brother i miss him dearly and there will be no viewing that has been canceled by the other half of the family but the service is still the same . Roderick well i know u wont have to suffer no more with this world i love you and i will always cherish our memories and will always love u deeply .     To the entire Mosley Family, Your loss is heaven gain, Roderick and I worked together at Grambling we really had some good times. To Key as Roderick would always call her you were as sweet as Roderick when I met you. Look to the hill from whence your health cometh, In due time all wounds will be heal I will be praying for the entire Mosley Family
