The Southern Jaguars had their fourth practice of preseason camp cut short roughly an hour after it began Sunday afternoon in Baton Rouge, La. The Jaguars were in the midst of 9-on-7 drills when scattered showers and lightning descended upon the practice fields around 3:57 p.m. After a 20-minute delay, head coach Stump Mitchell concluded practice and the team headed for the A.W. Mumford Fieldhouse for afternoon meetings.
The Jaguars will return to the practice fields at 9 a.m. Monday morning with exactly two weeks to prepare before the start of classes on Aug. 22.
