MEMPHIS, Tennessee — The Miss. Valley State Delta Devil baseball team captured a split as they won game two of the mid-week doubleheader at the University of Memphis.
The Devils fell in game one 7-0 before winning game two 3-2.
In game two, both teams scored in the fourth inning of the game. MVSU scored on an RBI double by Scott Hornstra before a Matt Burton sacrifice fly scored Hornstra. Chris Norman would later score on an throwing error giving MVSU a 3-0 lead. Memphis would score two runs in the bottom of the inning, but the margin would get no closer.
