PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The Heish Northern era kicks off tomorrow afternoon as the Prairie View A&M Panther football team begins spring practice.
For the first time since 2004, Prairie View’s spring practice will be under the direction of a new head coach in Northern coupled with new coordinators on both sides of the ball along with several new members of the coaching staff.
The Panthers will begin the first week with four consecutive practices from Wednesday to Saturday before shifting to a Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday format beginning on March 28. The Panthers will have a total of 14 practices between March 23 and April 13 before culminating with its annual Spring Football Game on Friday, April 15 at 6:30 p.m. in Prairie View.
In addition to its practice sessions, the coaching staff will also host a coaching clinic in conjunction with its 12th practice session on Saturday, April 9 at 3 p.m.
