PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The Prairie View A&M Department of Athletics is proud to unveil its new official athletic website at www.PVPanthers.com . Designed by SIDEARM Sports, the new site has a host of new features designed to provide fans and supporters the ultimate Prairie View A&M Panther experience.
Along with the sleek new look, PVPanthers.com offers fans, alumni and media an expanded look at the department’s 18 intercollegiate sports. Each sport has its own YouTube.com video channel which is designed to showcase student-athletes and coaches in various events throughout the year. The site also offers a new and improved PV Sports Hall of Fame area, live stats of selected games, student-athlete of the week profiles and interactive fan polls which allows for increased interaction between the Department of Athletics and its fans. In addition, the department also revamped its Facebook.com page which interacts directly with the site and keeps fans updated on all of the latest happenings on “The Hill.”
In the coming weeks, fans will also be able to view live video streams of selected athletic events in addition to downloading Apps for IPhones and Android based phones. PVPanthers.com will also allow fans to sign up for text messaging updates and E-Newsletters which will deliver up-to-the minute news and scores of athletic events on and off the Prairie View A&M campus.
“The possibilities are endless with the launching of our new athletic web site,” said Prairie View A&M Athletic Director Fred Washington. “We’ve been anticipating this launch for quite some time as the site will be the premier destination for Prairie View A&M fans to follow their favorite Panther and Lady Panther teams. The site also allows us to communicate directly with fans through a variety of ways on several of the leading social networking platforms.”
Excellent new site for Prairie View sports. The school and the SID really have something to be proud of. This way they will be able to keep supporters around the world better informed.
Is this really worthy of being the top story presented on TSPN’s home page? A school revamping its athletic website? It has become obvious that TSPN has become the sole bias venue for the Texas SWAC schools to boast every other second on what’s happening at their campuses. And still, no one cares!
@Shasta, if no one cares has you have stated, why did you take the time to let us know that no one cares? I find that to be somewhat oxymoronic, don’t you?
Nope. It’s called stating the obvious.
