PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas – The annual State Fair Classic football matchup featuring Prairie View A&M University and Grambling State has now extended over to the hardwood. The Prairie View A&M men’s and women’s basketball games scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 15 in Prairie View, Texas versus Grambling has been moved to Dallas and will be played at the Ellis Davis Field House.
Next weekend’s contest, which is titled 4 The Love of Basketball, will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the Lady Panthers battling Grambling State followed by the men’s game at 8:00 p.m. Tickets are available at all Williams Chicken locations in the Metroplex in addition to Ticketmaster and Ticketmaster.com outlets.
The Ellis Davis Field House is located on the grounds of the Jesse Owens Memorial Complex which is located southeast of Interstate 20 at 9191 South Polk Street in Dallas. The state-of-the art facility seats 7,500 and was erected in 2005.
