The Mississippi Valley State men’s basketball program continues to find success in the recruiting field. The Delta Devils program has been ranked in the top 100 in the nation in recruiting for the second consecutive season. HoopScoopOnline.com ranks men’s basketball recruiting across the nation while providing national news and reports. The site has ranked the Delta Devils 85th in the nation this season – a reason to be hopeful according to head coach Sean Woods.
“We have worked hard again this recruiting period,” said Woods. “Coaches (Dylan) Howard and (Chico) Potts both hit the recruiting trail hard and we feel that we have found players that will gel well with the players already in the program.”
The MVSU Class of 2010-2011 include Falando Jones (Mississippi Delta Community College/Greenwood (Miss.) HS), Jerome Harris (Spoon River Community College/Collins (Ill.) HS), Paul Crosby (Navarro Junior College/Holt (Mich.) HS) and Rodricko “Coco” Ware (East Mississippi Community College/Starkville (Miss.) HS).
