G Katrich Williams, Alabama A&M; 5-8, SR; Chattanooga, TN
Williams averaged 21.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 2.5 steals as the Bulldogs posted two wins last week. With the wins the Bulldogs are currently tied for second place in the SWAC standings. This is Williams’ third Player of the Week honor this season.

G Dominique Smith, Prairie View A&M; 5-10, JR; Vallejo, CA

Smith averaged 26.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.0 steals and 2.0 assists in two games for the Lady Panthers last week. Smith led all scorers in both games for PV last week, tallying 23 points against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and 30 versus Mississippi Valley State.

NEWCOMER

G Lenise Stallings, Mississippi Valley State; 5-5, FR; Hattiesburg, MS

Stallings averaged 14.0 points and 2.0 rebounds in two wins for the Devilettes last week. Stallings is currently the third-leading scorer for the Devilettes, averaging 6.9 points per game. This is her first Newcomer of the Week honor.

MEN

PLAYER

F Lebaron Weathers, Univ. Arkansas-Pine Bluff, 6-10, 275; SR; Clarksdale, MS

Weathers averaged 16.5 points, 10.0 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 4.0 blocks in a pair of thrilling OT wins for the Golden Lions over Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern. In his best game of the week, Weathers hit the game-winning shot at the overtime buzzer in Saturday’s 57-55 win over Prairie View A&M. It was the last two of his 21 points to go along with 13 rebounds, three assists and five blocks.

NEWCOMER

G Greg Dillon, Grambling State, 6-0, 200; JR; Bogalusa, LA

In just his sixth college basketball game, the GSU quarterback scored a career-high 29 points with four rebounds, four assists and two steals in an overtime loss against Jackson State. Dillon hit a three-pointer as time expired to send the game to overtime.

Ka’Neshia Smith (G, Mississippi Valley State) – averaged 14.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4.5 steals and 2.0 assists vs. Texas Southern and Prairie View A&M
Jamie Kador (F, Southern) – averaged 13.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks vs. Alabama A&M and Alabama State
Trikeyia East (G, Texas Southern) – averaged 17.0 points, 11.0 rebounds and 2.0 steals vs. Mississippi Valley State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff
NaDosha Strickland (G, Texas Southern) – averaged 12.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 2.0 steals vs. Mississippi Valley State and Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

Cornelius Hester (G, Alabama A&M) – averaged 16.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists vs. Southern and Alcorn State
Bo Amusa (F, Alabama A&M) – averaged 15.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 2.0 blocks vs. Southern and Alcorn State
Tramayne Moorer (F, Alabama State) – averaged 16.0 points and 10.0 rebounds vs. Alcorn State and Southern
Chris Duncan (F/C, Alabama State) – averaged 12.5 points, 4.5 rebounds and 2.0 blocks vs. Alcorn State and Southern
Garrison Johnson (G, Jackson State) – scored 22 points with eight rebounds vs. Grambling State
Tyrone Hanson (G, Jackson State) – scored 11 points with seven rebounds and two steals vs. Grambling State
Shannon Behling (F, Mississippi Valley State) averaged 15.5 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.0 steals vs. Texas Southern and Prairie View A&M
Dorian McDaniel (F, Prairie View A&M) – averaged 16.5 points and 4.5 rebounds vs. Univ. Arkansas-Pine Bluff and Mississippi Valley State
Deandre Hall (G, Texas Southern) – averaged 20 points and 4.5 rebounds vs. Mississippi Valley State and Univ. Arkansas-Pine Bluff
