Tokeyah Jones, Alabama State; 5-0, SO; Valley, AL

Jones had an exceptional outing for the Lady Hornets last week as she placed first in two events at the Tennessee State Invitational in Nashville, TN. Jones captured the individual title in the 55-meter dash with a time of 7.06. She also claimed the 200-meter dash event with a 25.17 time.

CO-MEN’S

Sean Delisser, Alabama A&M; 5-9, SO; Huntsville, AL

Delisser placed second in both the 55-meter and 200-meter dash at the Tennessee State Invitational last weekend.
Delisser had a time of 6.43 in the 55-meter event while recording a 22:29 time in the 200-meter dash.

Robert Gunn, Alabama State; 5-11, SR; Hueytown, AL

Also competing at the Tennessee State Invitational, Gunn posted a pair of second place finishes in the mile run and 5000-meter run. Gunn registered a 4:19.66 time in the mile run and finished the 5000-meter run with a 15:30.44 mark.
