For Wesley College, Derrius Nelson and Randy Perkins each had 24 points to lead the Warriors. Alessandro Norris added 14 points, five rebounds and three assists.
For Miss. Valley State, Shannon Behling led the team with 22 points, seven rebounds and two steals. Ricky Lamb added 14 points and two assists while Jason Holmes tallied 13 points and five rebounds.
Wesley College jumped out early gaining a 13-2 lead in the first four minutes of action. The Warriors led 47-43 at halftime. The Delta Devils fought back gaining an eight-point lead midway through the second half, but a 23-14 second-half rebounding advantage by the Warriors was key in the final 20 minutes.
The Delta Devils will return to action Monday, November 9 as they host Stillman College.
