Grambling, LA – Early this morning, a Grambling State University student-athlete passed away at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Henry White, a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, was a junior Criminal Justice major and a member of the university’s basketball team.
“The university community is deeply saddened by the loss of one of its promising student- athletes, and our deepest sympathy is extended to his family,” said Grambling President Horace Judson.
White had been hospitalized following participation in conditioning on Grambling’s campus on Aug 14. The university has since launched a full investigation into the circumstances that may have contributed to his death.
