The Mississippi Valley State Delta Devil football team braved the heat to open day five of Preseason Camp 2009 in full pads. The excitement was felt by the coaches and the staff as the team began going through game-related situations as well as group drills.
The offensive unit worked on implementing the schemes that will look to put points on the board. The Devils’ defensive unit began working to improve on a performance that ranked them last in the conference last season.
The MVSU Delta Devils football team opens the 2009 campaign with a road trip to Arkansas State on September 5. The team’s first home game comes on September 19 against conference rival Arkansas-Pine Bluff.
