Jackson State Women, Grambling State Men Lead
With two days completed of the 2009 SWAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, the Jackson State women and Grambling State men head into the final day of competition ahead of the pack.
After eight scored events, the Lady Tigers holds on to a slim lead with 80 total points. Alabama State is just behind J-State with 79.
For the men, Grambling State soared on day two and surpassed Jackson to take the number one spot heading into the final day of action tomorrow. After seven events scored Grambling has collected 91 points. J-State is currently in second place with 62 points.
