BIRMINGHAM – The 2009 Southwestern Athletic Conference Softball Roundup will begin this Friday, March 6th and continue through Sunday, March 8th. The Timberton Softball Complex in Hattiesburg, Mississippi will host the annual three-day event.
The roundup will showcase the softball squads from all ten member institutions. The event allows teams from both the Eastern and Western divisions to face each other on a neutral site. The five teams from the East will square off against the five teams from the West in a round robin format.
As a four-field softball venue, the Timberton Complex has the capacity to play several games at once. Parking and admission is free at the complex. The Roundup schedule is as follows:
