•   All 10 SWAC teams are in action this week, with four conference games and two non-conference games.
•   Alabama State plays at Grambling State in the first live streaming of a SWAC football game on the official conference website www.swac.org. Grambling State celebrates homecoming this week and has won four in a row. The Hornets are on the road for the second straight week and fifth time in their first six games.
•   Prairie View A&M got back on the winning track last week at home and will look to make it two wins in a row when they travel to Arkansas-Pine Bluff. The Golden Lions are looking for their first victory of the season.
•   Alcorn State posted its first conference win of the season last week and will travel to Alabama A&M in an important Eastern Division game. The Bulldogs are seeking to end a two-game losing strea.
•  Defending champion Jackson State earned its first SWAC win of the season and travels to Texas Southern. The Tigers have dropped two straight after winning three in a row.
•   Southern hosts long-time rival Florida A&M in a non-conference game on ESPN360.com and ESPNU. The Jaguars have won four in a row, while the Rattlers have won three of their last four. The game will be shown live on ESPN360.com and tape delayed on ESPNU at 9 pm.
•    Mississippi Valley State celebrates homecoming this week and hosts Savannah State in a non-conference game
