Baton Rouge, LA—Play has been suspended on day one of the 2008 Southwestern Athletic Conference Baseball Tournament due to inclement weather.
Game two featuring Alcorn State (Eastern Division #2) and Prairie View A&M (Western Division #3) was underway when play was suspended. The Braves were up 2-1 over the Panthers when play was ended in the top of the third inning.
The Alcorn State-Prairie View game will pick-up at 9:00 a.m. in the morning, weather permitting. The rest of Wednesday’s scheduled games will follow.
