Freshmen Dominique Smith contributed 17 points off the bench on 5-of-8 shooting from the floor. Smith helped ignite Prairie View A&M’s fast break attack in the second half which subsequently helped the Lady Panthers secure momentum of the contest.“I feel like we play our best basketball when we are able to get out a make things happen in transition,” said PVAMU head coach Cynthia Cooper-Dyke. “In the first have we were hesitant to play our up tempo style of play.
