PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas- The Prairie View A&M Lady Panthers (12-7, 7-0 SWAC) are two games away from sweeping the first half of conference play after a dominating performance over Mississippi Valley State (8-9, 3-4 SWAC). PVAMU’S Dominique Smith came off the bench and provided Prairie View A&M with a huge amount of fire power offensively scoring 18 points which turned out to be a game high. The 5-10 guard only missed one shot en route to going 6-of-7 from the field and 3-of-4 from three point range.
Prairie View A&M held MVSU scoreless thru the first 9:50 of the first half before Mississippi Valley State was able to get on the board with a successful free throw attempt bringing the score to 19-1.
The Lady Panthers led 34-11 at intermission holding MVSU to just 12 percent shooting from the floor. PVAMU shot 43 percent in the first half.
The second half brought more of the same as Mississippi Valley
