DALLAS, Texas — The U.S. Army presented the Army Strong Leadership Award to Prairie View A&M University’s defensive back Edward Moore (junior) during the Southwest Airlines State Fair Classic at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas.
Moore is a graduate of Highlands High School in San Antonio. The Army Strong Leadership awardees are selected by their school’s coaches and athletic directors based on athletics, academics, community service and citizenship.
The U.S. Army will present Army Strong Leadership Awards and conduct special activities to “Celebrate Our Soldiers” at eight Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Football Classic games this season including: State Fair Classic; Circle City Classic; Battle of the Bay Classic; Morehouse College Homecoming; Magic City Classic; Tennessee State Homecoming; Florida Classic; SWAC Championship
