Can’t argue with the selection of Lee (his numbers were simply awesome) but I would have named him co-player along with Jimmy Oliver of JSU based on the relative closeness of the numbers and the fact that A&M was a more formidable opponent.

I totally agree with Mike Biggs. Congrats to both Oliver and Lee, but my player of the week is Jimmy Oliver, hands down, with Lee and honorable mention.
Come on SWAC office, get it together. Sheesh!!

I didn’t say honorable mention…his stats were impressive regardless of who he played against. Lee’s passing percentage is high partly because of the style of offense, but also because he makes good reads. I say Co-POTW

This is insane, everybody knows how bad TX So is, they have not won a game. Jimmy Oliver had an incredible day in a playoff type game against the defending SWAC CHAMPIONS. Come on SWAC office

Apparently JSU will have to play twice as hard as opposed to the other swac teams. When we mke it to the championship, maybe they’ll respect us again

I’ve noticed that the players of the week usually come from the team playing TSU. I feel bad for them this year.
