Kynneth Moses, VUU, JR, OL, 6-2, 280, Chesapeake, VA

Moses aided his team in posting a season-high 475 yards of total offense against Livingstone College.

Receiver of the Week:
Phillip Taylor, VUU, JR, WR, 6-1, 195, Centreville, VA
Taylor posted 4 catches for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns. His receptions were highlighted by a 90-yard touchdown.

Offensive Back of the Week:
Lamar Little, VUU, JR, QB, VUU, 5-11, 205, Candor, NC

The Panthers’ QB Lamar Little posted a game-high 146 yards and 1 TD on 9 carries. In addition he completed 9 of 21 passes for 152 yards and 3 touchdowns, including a 90-yard touchdown pass to Phillip Taylor. Totals: 298 yards, 4 TDs

Defensive Lineman of the Week:
Jeremy Carthen, ECSU, SR, LB, 6-2, 245, Red Springs, NC
Carthen, the CIAA’s leading tackler heading into Saturday’s game vs. NC Central, amassed a game high 15 tackles (7 solo, 8 assisted) including 2 for a loss of 3 yards in the 37th Annual Whitney Young Classic at Giants Stadium in East Rutherford, NJ.

Defensive Back of the Week:
Shawn Dickerson, ECSU, SR, SS, 6-1, 195, Richmond, VA

Dickerson totaled 8 tackles (3 solo, 5 assisted) and had a sack for a loss of 10 yards against the North Carolina Central Eagles.

Rookie of the Week:
Andrade Olliver, SAC, LB, 6-0, 220, Kenly, NC

Olliver led the Falcons with nine tackles including three tackles for a loss including a sack in a 45-6 loss to Carson-Newman.

Specialty Player of the Week:
De’Audra Dix, JCSU, SR, KR, 5-10, 185, Merritt Island, FL

De’Audra had three kick-off returns for 131 yards against Championship Subdivision (formerly Division I-AA) opponent Charleston Southern. His longest was an 85-yard return that set-up JCSU’s first rushing touchdown of the season.

Coach of the Week:
Arrington Jones, III, Virginia Union University
Coach Jones led his team to a 45-7 victory over Livingstone College, making them the only CIAA team to post a victory this weekend.
