Recaps From Around the SWAC

Known over the years for their defensive schemes, it looks like the Bulldogs have created a balance with an offense that has averaged over 500 yards per game this season. That trend continued with a 31 point trouncing over Mississippi Valley 45-14. A&M remains undefeated at 3-0, while the Delta Devils sink to 1-2. Read about it.
BARLOW AND COMPANY DOES IT AGAIN
Coach Reggie Barlow and his Hornets continue to grind out wins beating Arkansas-Pine Bluff 12-10. Trailing Arkansas-Pine Bluff 10-6 with less than one minute remaining in the game, Alabama State quarterback Chris Mitchell connected with Fred Ragsdale on a game-winning 10-yard touchdown pass.
However, according to UAPB head coach Moe Forte, the officials cheated. Mike Marzelli of the Pine Bluff Commercial explains why.
