Christianity first arrived in North Africa, in the 1st or early 2nd century AD. The Christian communities in North Africa were among the earliest in the world. Legend has it that Christianity was brought from Jerusalem to Alexandria on the Egyptian coast by Mark, one of the four evangelists, in 60 AD. This was around the same time or possibly before Christianity spread to Northern Europe.

Once in North Africa, Christianity spread slowly West from Alexandria and East to Ethiopia. Through North Africa, Christianity was embraced as the religion of dissent against the expanding Roman Empire. In the 4th century AD the Ethiopian King Ezana made Christianity the kingdom's official religion. In 312 Emperor Constantine made Christianity the official religion of the Roman Empire.

The disciples were called Christians first at Antioch, Acts 11:26 was the first time the word was used. Prior, to then they were called disciples.

The Ethiopian eunuch Acts 8:26-38, Philip, Baptized / converted the Ethiopian (Dark Face) eunuch to Christianity in 1st Century AD. He further preached Christianity, in Ethiopia; Sudan {Land of Ham}.

The Eunuch was the treasurer for Candace, queen of Ethiopia. He had come to Jerusalem to worship at the temple. The man was sitting in his chariot, reading aloud from a scroll, Isaiah 53:7-8, he may have been Jewish, by religion, because he came to worship in Jerusalem and reading from the scroll.

The sad that some folks, think Christianity is a “White Man’s Religion”, when it actually started on the African Continent and was first practiced by "the local Citizens." The City of Jerusalem, was founded by Jebus, the son of Canaan, the son of Ham, the Noah.

Some think that “Jesus” was white, absolutely not. The genealogy, consist of a variety of “nationalities; races; skin complexions and backgrounds”

The other sad part about some blacks and mostly whites do not understand Islam, which only mean "Islam" means "Peace through the submission to God".

The word "Muslim" means "anyone or anything that submits itself to the will of God".

The Muslim name for God is Allah, which is simply Arabic for "the (al) God (Ilah)." The term is related to Elohim, the Hebrew word for God.
So called “Christians” forgot that Abraham, his brother Haran and father Terah, were Idol worshippers and operated a shop that sold idols, Genesis Chapters 11-25.

Now Dr.H you can't be around spreading the truth. The Aethist are gonna say the white man told you that. they don't like the truth. Just some book that goes along with their disbelief.

Using bible verses to try to make a point outside of those that believe in the bible is like using a fiction book to argue that aliens are real lol. When are you going to get it, NO ONE knows WHERE the bible came from, who wrote it, who changed what, who took out what and who added what. Do you even know what the "king james" version of the bible means? That mofo has been edited more times than a Sunday paper before dawn. Also:

Legend has it that Christianity was brought from Jerusalem to Alexandria on the Egyptian coast by Mark, one of the four evangelists, in 60 AD

Since when is Jerusalem in Africa? LOL... black folk try to hard to make themselves believe this stuff, sad.

Normally I try and stay out of this but....Whoever said anything about Jerusalem being in Africa??? Israel is not in Africa so why would anyone thing that Jerusalem is in Africa? Heck if somebody doesn't know where those to cities are all they have to do is look in the back of a Bible, a map of the world, or even Google it. The fact that someone mentioned Christianity being brought to Alexandria via the Egyptian coast is possible. It would've been a nice long boat ride, but it is possible.

Northeast Africa....there is no such thing as the Middle East. That is a political concoction.

FYI: Christianity is a religion plagiarized from the prior religions of Egypt, India and other offshoot customs and beliefs existing THOUSANDS of years before anyone ever thought to name anything after a christ.
Christianity is a plagiarized religion just like Judaism and Islam. Plagiarized means copied, stolen, taken from, etc. It's not an original religion no matter how folks try and make it out to be.

The above is more proof that Christianity is one of the newest major religions. It's history is based on combining material from previous religions of Egypt, Babylonia, India along with made up stories and fables from other cultures.

African history is thousands and thousands of years old. There was NO inkling of any Christian religion before AD.

Christ always was, is now and forever shall be. Amen, Amen, Amen. Believe it or not; it's your choice!

You read that in a book correct? Hmmmmmm, and that book was written by a man correct? Hmmmmm. Amazing how our minds work isn't it? Book, Man writing. See the correlation there?

Herbert, you just reminded me the late Dr. John Henrik Clarke explained at an African Holocaust Conference I attended that the term Middle East is a WWII term that defines a military strategic position. If I'm not mistaken, he further went on to explain that you would be hard pressed to find that term on any type of map prior to that time period. He further explained in his own words, "If not for the digging of that man made ditch, the Suez Canal, the term probably never originates." In greater detail he explained that the creation of that canal separated what was once a geographical conjoined/united land mass known and referred to by many as Northeast Africa.

The problem, Law Dawg, is when most people think of Africa or African people they think dark skin, broad nose, thick lips and kinky hair. White folk (and most N***oes) reject the idea that the Christ is of African decent because their idea of Africans is western, central and sub Saharan Africa. Morocco is in Africa.....Libya is in Africa.....Ethiopia.... Egypt are African NATIONS. You'd be hard pressed to find a continent with a more diverse INDIGENOUS people (in terms of physical appearance) than the continent of Africa which also would substantiate the widely held belief/fact that mankind (as we know him) originated on the continent of Africa.

The Christ may not have looked like Steven Biko but surely He did not look like Michaelangelo. I told a white guy I worked with a long time ago this and he was speechless. I then took him to a world map and showed him the region the Christ was from and he was dumbfounded. Most people today think Israel is in Europe.

As the young folk say.......Man, they don't even know.

Who else could've written it? Surely you didn't think aliens wrote it but then again since you believe in the bible, that's not beyond the realm of being possible.:snicker:

Black people were on this planet long before White folks and have a history thousands and thousands of years older than what most folks have been taught.
Seems like all Black folks are taught to talk about is what happened from slavery up until now, but they TOTALLY ignore the vast history of Black folks in and outside of Africa long before the White man came into Africa and put his spin on it's history.

Christianity is a religion created by Romans, not Africans.

Merry Christmas buddy. Now sing along, "we come this far by faith, he hasn't failed me yet. Blessed be his holy name." :wavey:

History, during the ancient times there was no “Middle or Far East” the entire area was called the Land of Ham (Psalms 106). It was only during the late 1800’s the name Middle East came into existence with the digging of Suez Canal, this all was done for political reasons. Jerusalem and Egypt, have always been located on the Cotenant of Africa (Afri – Latin, a name by the Romans), all of this is evident on the ancient maps and the “modern day” Middle and Far East are only regions located on the in the Land of Ham.

"Then Israel came to Egypt; Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham." (Psalm 105:23)

"He sent Moses his servant, and Aaron whom he had chosen. They wrought his signs among them, and miracles in the land of Ham." (Psalm 105:26-27)

Christianity is a belief that is practiced, no different than Judaism and Islam and all three are interconnected, with the root being Judaism.

I am always cautious, of what archeologists “say”, because they will always mis-represent the history and accomplishments and religious practices of ancient blacks, especially the Egyptians. Case in point, a majority of what Moses learned was due to the fact that He was educated by the Egyptians, including some of his religious practices and beliefs.

“Christianity” was practiced, years on the Continent of Africa before it was introduced was introduced into “Europe / Asia”

They may have been called Christians for the first time at Antioch but they may not have been the first group to be called Christians. There is documented proof, other than the Bible, that Christianity was more fragmented in the 1st century than it is now. Some believed the Jesus figure was divine, some believed he was just a man and some did not believe in the Jesus figure at all. The worshipers of Serapis Christos were called Christians also. Serapis was over two centuries older than the Jesus figure.

“Egypt, which you commended to me my dearest Servianus, I have found to be wholly fickle and inconsistent and continually wafted about by every breath of fame. The worshippers of Serapis here are called Christians and those who are devoted to the god Serapis (I find) call themselves Bishops of Christ.â€

Hadrian to Servianus 134 A.D.

Serapis Christos turned into Hail Zeus which turned into HeZues which eventually became Jesus Christ. We can agree that Christianity started in Africa. We disagree on HOW, WHERE in Africa, and WHY it was started.

In my opinion, I say the Western Euro-Christianity was started by the man in the upper left. . .

The point about Jerusalem not being in Africa clearly went over your head.

Also, after reading these posts it's no wonder we were so easy to be dominated. Toss us a Bible and we follow like puppies lol:emlaugh:

True. Just believe with no evidence or facts to support the belief, then criticize the people who are asking why you don't require proof before you believe. That's called blind faith.
