Ark. Pine Bluff @ Alabama St. 2:00 pm I like the Golden Lions in this one, but picking the Bees because they are at home
Prairie View A&M @ Grambling St. 3:00 pm (SW Airlines State Fair Classic, Dallas, TX) Kincaide will be a handful for the Panthers, but the Panthers defense isn't the same as last year. Also Trey Green is no slouch at PV, he was able to light up Valley without all his weapons last week, but now they will be back. Still a pretty even game. People expect a high scoring shootout, but both defenses are improved and I predict the scoring for both teams will be below their average. Special teams and the least penalized team will tilt the balance in this one.
Miss. Valley St @ Jackson St. 6:00 pm Both teams trying to find their identity at QB, depending on which one is brave enough to start their backups will win this one. If this was at Valley I would pick them because they really hate JSU. JSU at home will pull this out.
Alabama A&M @ Texas Southern U. 7:00 pm Gotta go with the stiff TSU defense and the slippery QB Hurts in this one. Ballard of A&M will make this a battle, but the better defense will pull this out
