Division I has never been more fractured, and the split between the haves and have-nots in college athletics is becoming more real than ever.

A blind man could see this coming 10 miles away and then we have some people that believe that HBCU's should join the FBS in football. The Group of 5 schools are on life support without being able to make decisions in football anymore than we can. The NCAA will probably disband within 5 to 10 years permanently. We as HBCU's should have some alternative plan set in motion to survive the changes in the realm of athletics in the future.

People need to remember that Tennessee State is in a hostile state and thus certain decisions was made due to those complications when the HBCU conference they were in collapse.
