So basically we wont see her now until the hardcourt season! lol
Yes, Wimbledon is the unofficial end to the grass court season.

Hopefully she will make it to the Olympics.

There will be a few clay court tourneys, plus the Olympics. After the Olympics the North American hard court season will start.

Congratulations to Taylor Fritz!

Congratulations Krejcikova!!! 2024 Women's single title

The Italian sister had a second great run at a major, great playing!!!

Two hours after July 13 2024 became what Barbora Krejcikova called “the greatest day of my life”, the new Wimbledon champion revealed something she had previously kept private… That in the weeks leading up to The Championships, Jana Novotna has come to her in her dreams.

Over the past few days, Krejcikova has reflected many times on the day 10 years ago when she summoned the courage to knock on her heroine’s door in Brno, home town to both Czechs, to ask the 1998 champion to mentor her. The powerful coaching bond they formed was broken only by Novotna’s death from ovarian cancer, at the age of 49, in 2017.

Now that she has replicated Novotna’s achievement in hoisting the Venus Rosewater Dish, Krejcikova was asked if she ever has conversations with her mentor in her head.

“I am dreaming about her a lot,” she replied. “In the dreams we are talking. It’s very personal.” The 28-year-old would not disclose further detail, but her expression was peaceful. What would she say to Jana now, if she could, after this victory?

Siniakova and Townsend triumph in late-night doubles

I am so happy for Taylor, she finally got her grand slam doubles final championship!!!

The Czech-American team of Katerina Siniakova and Taylor Townsend are Wimbledon champions after beating No.2 seeds Gabriela Dabrowski and Erin Routliffe in the ladies’ doubles final on Centre Court.

The No.4 seeds’ 7-6(5), 7-6(1) victory late on Saturday evening under the lights earns them their first title together as a pair in only their third tournament alongside one another.

While it is Siniakova's third Wimbledon doubles trophy and a ninth major title overall, Townsend gets to taste Grand Slam success for the first time having finished runner-up in doubles finals at both the US Open and Roland-Garros in the past.

The result completes a remarkable couple of months for Siniakova who makes it back-to-back majors on two different surfaces - with two different partners - after landing the Roland-Garros title in June with Coco Gauff.

Siniakova and Townsend saved two set points in the opener and recovered from 0-3 in the first set tie-break before dominating the second shootout of the final to wrap up a memorable result after two hours and 4 minutes.

Carlos Alcaraz Dominates Novak Djokovic to Win 2024 Wimbledon as Fans Hype Stardom

Carlos Alcaraz remains the king of Wimbledon.

The 21-year-old defeated Novak Djokovic in the men's singles championship match on Sunday, 6-2, 6-2, 7-6(4) to maintain the title that he first won in last year's championship against the same foe.

Djokovic may be a seven-time Wimbledon champion and hold the record for the most Grand Slam men's singles titles with 24, but Alcaraz set the tone from the early going and prevailed in the highly anticipated rematch of last year's thrilling five-set final.

He did so in front of an audience that included Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton, in a public appearance amid her ongoing recovery after revealing earlier this year she was diagnosed with cancer.

What a fortnight!

I will throw my hat into the Wimbledon lottery again next year for tickets. I would love to go back.

Carlos and Sinner are the top men's players.

Iga, Aryna, Elena and Coco should rule the US hardcourt season.
