TSU VS UH

Come on TSU! It would be off the hook if SU and TSU could post big wins on the same night. GO SWAC!!!!

Starting pitcher Strickland was pulled for loading the bases with no outs. :redhot:

Middle Reliever couldn't do anything with it; walked two batters and two runners scored on a single. :kaioken:

We outnumbered their fans 2 to 1 in their own stadium.

that's why not clinching the SWAC West will cause Candy to pull a coaching miracle....if SU gets a bye, TSU will have to decide when and where to use Stricklen and Daniels because the bullpen is very suspect....

I don't think there are byes in the tournament.

if not....that's very dumb then.....you basically make everyone on an even playing field...the top seed's only reward is playing a #3 and that's no cakewalk

softball received a bye

Well this scenario certainly does work out better for the #1 seed in the West. Valley vs. PV is going to be very, very interesting, while I just don't see Alcorn pitching and playing defense for nine inning against SU. I don't think there was ever a Bye in the SWAC baseball tourny, even when the fields were expanded in the past. Both the SEC and Big-12 have 8 team tournaments where the top seeds play first round games, so with only six teams it make sense to not have a bye.

P.V. and Valley is going to be "The Game" in the first round. That will be something to see!

TSU (18-20-1) jumped out to a 3-0 lead after five innings and appeared to have the game under control, scoring two unearned runs in the top of the sixth inning.

But the Cougars (20-24) scored six runs in the bottom of the inning.
