If you have been fortunate to have a Father, a good one at that, I'm sure a list of things he has done for you and others is too long. As I myself reminisce on good fathers that I know of, these brief things come to my mind and again I'm sure many of you can relate.

1. Helped me to Focus on my natural gifts and talents...
2. Always had my back but...
3. Also Taught me how to defend myself...
4. Helped me to make wiser actions so I wouldn't play a fool...
4. Celebrated with me Even when outcomes may not have been what I wanted, thus helping me to keep my head lifted.
5. Raved about me to others about my accomplishments...
6. Sacrificed so much time, energy, and resources so I can be a better man with a more favorable outcome in life.

In a nutshell, my Pop's presence has been in everything I've done somehow, someway. If only I can be as good to my own son as he has been to me.

So much respect to all Fathers and the positive roles and influences they have played in your life. If you are a Father, much honor to what you've done in your own children's lives.

"Happy Father's Day!"

Scriptural Basis: Proverbs 23:24 NLT "The father of godly children has cause for joy."
