Some stereotypes were laid to rest on Saturday. Band members from both universities received life lessons they could never receive in a classroom. Also, you had two opposing Band Directors who are friends come together in a musical display of excellence, never seen or heard in Tiger stadium.
I started watching the 5th quarter, and I thought it was going to be the same bland HBCU vs PWI band “battle”, but LSU came with the smoke on their first song. I was laying down watching it, and when they cranked up after starting the song like a typical PWI band, it made me stand up lol
One question about LSU band halftime show.... How do you line up on the wrong side of the field on the 25 yard line and try to sneak to the other 25 yard line with a big azz tuba????? I also saw a entire section missing in the bull and the trombone player just said f it and run to his place
