My nephew from Haynesville committed there along with two other guys. I know we don’t get in to the smaller HBCU programs but I had tolls chance to talk to the head coach and they really care about those kids. I really wish HBCUs could get the funding because there would be some interesting football.
 
I know about them because Cooley was their head coach when he brought them back to play us for Homecoming while I was undergrad. Think it was his last coaching gig

That was Paul Quinn who started back up in 2000

Texas College started back in 2003 and was pretty good initially with those club players 🤣 they joined naia and had to follow rules and they never were the same after that - their admins have flat out said don't play swac schools 🤣

Texas College is one of the 6 original SWAC schools all based out of Texas. 5 private schools and PV. The private schools all left due to finances1000027357.jpg
