Jackson State led the league with 11 selections, followed by Alabama State (8), Florida A&M (7), Alabama A&M (6), Alcorn State (6), Bethune-Cookman (4), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (3), Grambling State (2), Texas Southern (2), Prairie View A&M (1), Southern (1) and Mississippi Valley State (1).

Im not understanding why folks are mad that people from their school isnt on the list…. In these days and times (if their eligibility isnt up).. BE GLAD…. Because soon as they get that 1st team accolade…. They hitting the portal …. We have to stop thinking these players are loyal to us…. That 1st team accolade is nothing but a resume builder. If they are out of eligibility … then yes be upset… but be greatful if they didnt make the team and they have eligibility left.

The literal leading punter and 2nd best TE (who was Preseason 2nd Team and only had 8 fewer yards than Griffin at Alcorn despite playing in 3 fewer games) were completely left off

I speak from the rails of Ace Mumford Stadium West @ Prairie View A&M University; the list is accurate for NOT including anyone PVAMU other than the kicker. I would've thrown the PV LSer in because he didn't have an errant snap all season long.
