I would like to take out this opportunity to THANK EACH person that called me to check up on me during the storms. The calls and concerns are GREATLY APPRECIATED. I truly thank you all for exhibiting the love and compassion during this time. My area was hit pretty badly. I give all CREDIT TO GOD because he truly blessed my family and me. As I go throughout my subdivision, I am deeply saddened and hurt by what my eyes are witnessing. There are 150 homes in my subdivision. Out of the 150 homes, nine of the homes did not receive a drop of water. I am blessed because God placed a hedge of protection around my home, and I was one of the nine that did not receive a drop of water. I wasn?t at home during the flooding, but my daughter told me that the water came to the front porch and stopped. I?ve been told that the streets looked like a river. The water level was at the top of my mailbox. White Oak Bayou is behind my home, but the waters missed me. I lost a car in the flooding, as it was completely submerged under water but that?s it. Again, many thanks to each of you all that made contact with me.

Thanks Dtown. Girl, I am not worried about the car. My Agent took the claim on Monday and they are picking up the car today. They are totalling it, so I guess I'll be back in the car looking business.

Kellis, if you handle up on that request and I'm feeling generous, I'll buy you a martini or two. :emlaugh:
