1. The Southern University Bowling Team has just recently cliched the 2023 regular season Swac Bowling Championship. Congratulations to Coach Doyle and the ladies bowling champions.
2. Southern University leads the SWAC in baseball attendance and is closing in on first in Swac basketball attendance.
3. Through 2 days of play in the Cactus Jack HBCU Baseball Tourney in Houston, Texas, the Southern Jags are undefeated, havng defeated Jackson 5 to 4 on day one, and Grambling 4 to 3 on day 2.
4. Enrollment on the BR campus for the current 2022-23 academic school year is nearly 8400.
