Shout out to AAMU faculty staff for a nice open house event for potential students. I once again brought a number of graduating Seniors from Lane College who are considering graduate school opportunities on, "The Hill." Encouraging my students to attend AAMU not a hard sale for me!

As for the game, the band was tight. Good tributes to Frankie Beverly... I saw SU Jag Fans showing the MMW much love. That was real cool. Much respect to their fans at the game.

....but I let my students be to sit with my parents and other elders...ah man, they were cracking up on the team. ...and then they were cracking up some more....and then they cracked up some more... @Blacknbengal would have enjoyed it and been so proud. If it wasn't for the elders cracking jokes on the team, it would have been so depressing. It was like the section I was sitting in were the audience for Sanford and Son just laughing out loud listening in on a roasting session on the team.

But that's all a fan can do to make an AAMU football game worthwhile these days, just crack jokes on the team all day long. Jeesh...

I was about to say some things about Maynor but I deleted them. I still love him though. His time came up 2 years ago...but according to the elders, his close sticking to President Wims and the AD will keep him around for another year. I can't believe that but we will see.
