That's just a bad take. Good grief. What Stephen Jackson doesn't understand (maybe because he hasn't worked in a true 9-5) is that Black people have always had to fight the idea that we don't belong in certain positions or we're only given opportunities in predominately white spaces not on the strength of our own merit. Our promotions and assignments often get questioned by white folks like Rachel Nichols on that very idea.
OAN: Malika Andrews is a far better NBA reporter (and she's not even 30 yet) than Nichols will ever be.
