It maybe at 2.4 on the Richter scale, but earthquake have happened in East Georgia. They have especially happened in South Carolina. Hagan, Georgia is about 70-75 miles from the coast.

I remember about 15 years ago one happened in North Georgia in the middle of the night. It was quick but certainly woke me up…lol
