The Houston Alumni Chapter will be hosting it's 30th Annual Mardi Gras Scholarship Luncheon. The funds raised from this event goes to provide scholarship money for Houston Area Prairie View A&M students.

Come on out and help us help them by purchasing a seat or sponsoring a table. Each seat is $40 and a table (10 seats) is only $400.

Keynote Speaker: Reverend Dr. Marcus D. Cosby


The Reverend Dr. Marcus D. Cosby serves as the Senior Pastor of Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church in Houston, Texas. He was born the third child of Rogers and Bobbie Cosby in Chicago, Illinois. There he received his elementary education at the Emmanuel Christian School and secondary education at Whitney M. Young Magnet High School. He further received the Bachelor of Arts Degree in Religion and English from Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee, the Master of Divinity Degree in Homiletics and Christian Education from the Morehouse School of Religion at the Interdenominational Theological Center (ITC) in Atlanta, Georgia and the Doctor of Ministry Degree in Homiletics from Northern Baptist Theological Seminary in Lombard, Illinois.
