Plano beats Kingwood, 60-58

I caught the second half and overtime of this game and it was quite a game. Kingwood looked as if they were gonna pull away in regulation but Plano hung tough. That point guard Nic Wise of Kingwood is the real deal but they depended much too much on him down the stretch and it showed. The little junior guard for Plano saved them. He kept them in the game with those long bombs and made some key freethrows to bring the game to overtime. Showed a lotta heart and barely displayed emotion. It was a battle of point guards and while Plano's point guard didnt win the battle, he did win the war.
 
Coach Lute Olsen of Arizona offered Nic Wise a full scholarship when he was in the 8th grade.

Dallas schools won the 3A, 4A and 5A Texas state championships
