ONLINE COLLEGE CLASSES vs HBCUs.

On-line classes vs HBCU's

At the moment, I'm getting my MBA in E-Commerce through The University of Phoenix on-line. I don't think that it will really cause a problem for HBCU's. If anything, more HBCU's will start a have a lot of their classes on-line. On-line programs are easier for people who don't have the time to sit in class all day. I think this would only help enhance a university if they had the on-line classes in place. It would also increase the schools number of students. Just my two cents!

A very significant impact.

Great question.

With computers and being on line becoming more common, I could see an increasing number of students being educated over the net. The thing is HBCUs must be positioned to capture that market. We must market our schools, adapt and be able to offer "tele-college" instruction to the masses.
