NFL's hiring, firing and keeping coaches, general managers .....

NFL owners openly discriminate against Black coaches in a league dominated by Black players. There should at least be the fear that all hell could break loose if Mayo or any Black Coach isn’t given a fair opportunity. The Players Association is weak. No action on Kap, no action on the CTE payout to white players versus Black players and not a word when they were called s.o.b.s by the so-called president.

Note that Mayo spent his entire professional career as a player and coach with the Patriots while Vrabel also played for the Patriots. Vrabel should know a few things about how thing work in the Pats organization as Mayo did (or at least should have).

I did not follow the Patriots closely this season and do not have a good opinion about Mayo. Yet, I am a person who is very slow to fire a coach after one season but may do so only if things are really bad with the team.

I wish that adults read closely and carefully what others write and say. These days I worry about that a lot.

The weakest union by far among the 4 major sports leagues

Even the WNBA has shown more backbone recently than the NFLPA

And the players are just as weak

Contrary to popular belief, this would not be a good move for Dion. The college game is where he can excel. Guys in the NFL would show little to no respect for his inability to really coach. Coaching grown men would be different from impressionable youngsters.

In reality, you are right but this is the Cowboys we're talking about. Jerry Jones wants a splash hire and Deion being a former Cowboys player that was on their last SB team definitely would be a splash especially if they can land Shedeur as well

That part.

How many guys MAINLY black ones have we seen crash and burn?

What grown man is going to put up with Sanders antics?

And Sanders going to Dallas???? In this political climate? How fast does Jerry get called for a DEI hire of Sanders?

I know Jerry wants a splash hire but as much as I don't care for Sanders-I would NOT want him in a spot that could screw him in the end. He needs to build up his resume some more and build a better brand WITHOUT his kids.

Those kids have to learn to play without Dad around. We see the mess Lebron and even Lavar Ball got for that.
