Tagilabue revolutionized the NFL into a billion dollar empire with an unprecedented television package and marketing.

However, he will be known for his series of statements at the 2002 Icon Grambling football banquet. Recall, he dropped all responsibilites (running the NFL empire) after one phone call from Grambling.
