My brother is a Graduate Assitant on the LU football staff, and says their stadium is very nice. He came home for the Essence fest and had many pictures of the stadium, facilities that he will use for recruiting purposes.

The capacity is 15,000 not including the the end zone bleachers that can seat over 1000. I will check on the number of students. But there are 3 campuses.

Maybe the PV Athletic Department as well as other Higher Ups within the Administration will realize a 15,000+ capacity stadium is all we need on Da Hill! Renovated or Brand New :look:

Nice facility, but it would be a lot better if the track were around the practice field so the seats could be closer to the field.

Langston enrollments is 3,500

Langston's current athletics plans are to gain NCAA Division II status and full membership in the SIAC. This plan was rolled out by the previous president that just recently retired. They have a new president, she starts in August. Currently, they have obtained provisional membership in the SIAC and start their NCAA Division II provisional status as of September 1.

This upgrade is in addition the renovation they made on the basketball gym that seats 5,000 with luxury suites.

Here is their 2004 schedule. Because of renovations to the stadium over the last three years. They did not play their first home game until last at homecoming near the end of the season. They will get Alcorn State in their home stadium next year in 2006.
