HUNTSVILLE, Ala. --- The Tennessee State women's golf team won its first event in the brief history of the program by winning the Alabama A&M Golf Classic that concluded Tuesday.
The Lady Tigers recorded a team total of 711 in the 36-hole tournament that was played in cold temperatures and high winds. Alabama State was second with a 771 and host Alabama A&M was a distant third. TSU is beginning its second spring season of NCAA competition.
