From the talks I listen to, the majority believe, Kemp is the person that would have beat Majorie Green and secured the seat for Republicans.
Now that he's not running, if Majorie runs, it is projected that every Democrat beats her, regardless of the margin.

MTG will not run.

The democrats should not rest easy. I expect the GOP to give it, the campaign, its all no matter who runs.

BTW I knew she was born in Milledgeville, a former state capital, and finished high school in Forsyth County. I did not know she went to school in Decatur.
