Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Dies at 87

Yet, your criticism perspective allows Trump supporters the leverage needed to keep Trump elected which is some real live bullshit. I have seen so many black men post negative points about Biden since he chose Harris as his running mate.

This is how I make it simplistic to the "woke" community who want to make it difficult:

Trump supporters are going to vote for Trump regardless.

They can't be swayed. Not with constant revelations about how he failed at the pandemic response, or members of his cabinet/associates being jailed, his trampling over the constitution, or many lies he's told over the years.

In fact, Trump supporters become even more entrenched ... with criticism of Trump.

Any criticism of Biden-Harris will have no impact on that voting bloc.

I simply don’t subscribe to the idea that you cannot voice criticism or concern about Biden-Harris. They can have your support and still listen to your voice. It’s OK to multitask. All candidates are supposed to be scrutinized, questioned, and have their ideology examined while running for office. That's the political process.

Obama's presidency is all but erased...which was Trump's plan. We are in dangerous territory. Trump will use his stacked court to overturn the results of the election if he loses. Nothing has stopped this idiot
Unfortunately I think you are correct in your assessment.

Now progressives are trying to pressure Biden into committing to expanding the Supreme Court if elected . This is not a conversation that needs to be had right now. Win the Whitehouse and the Senate first, dumbasses. No nuance whatsoever

But the right -- even before its party won the presidency in 2016 -- had been pushing for conservatives on the Supreme Court.

The Dems should do the same thing. The Dems can't act reasonably or play it by the book when the other side flat-out refuses to or simply doesn't give a shit about process and procedure.

And this is the same Biden who committed (when no one really demanded) to having a woman VP when that really wasn't all that important. So priorities seem to waver.

This is false equivalence. You cant compare conservatives (or for that matter, liberals) using the prospect of filling seats to having to actually change the law to expand the court. Short term gratification is not worth the long term disastrous effects when the shoe is on the other foot (how is the
Nuclear option working for Democrats now?) This is an issue for the primaries; not the general as theres literally no benefit when you dont have the majority. There's more than Biden on the ballot and for the Democrats poised to flip senate seats; this will not help their races.

The bottomline is , win the presidency and senate first.

The Dems haven't gone nuclear option. They haven't even tried to legislate at all. They haven't attempted to galvanize voters beyond the "go vote" messages. All they've done is complain about 45 and others on the right ... while watching them do and say whatever they want.

And this why the party is going to likely lose again come November.

Nobody said no one could not criticize Biden-Harris.

The issue is way too many only go off on THOSE two while ignoring the guy in the White House.
Fake woke culture does that. They only focus on ONE side.

You can't cry about a Clinton crime and how bad Democrats are when the worst states for education and crime are Republican run.
When woke folks get those benefits cut by Trump when he is reelected what are they going to say?

"But but her e-mails??"

This is why so many on the left criticize the Dems. They're too damn weak ... except when it comes to punching down on black people and the poor.

People have had three years to examine Trump. Folks should know who he is and what's he's about by now. There is no ignoring him. If you as a candidate are trying to present an alternative, you have to expect some scrutiny from the public. These people are not applying to be managers at White Castle. They're running for the right to govern.

And as far as how bad the Dems are ... well they have been. The largest transfer of wealth in a generation was authorized under a democratic president. Chicago, a historically Democratic-run city, engineered the largest public school closure in American history, which so happened to mostly impact Black and brown families.

There is tremendous wealth inequality in blue cities, too. Average folks can't afford a decent house in San Francisco or Oakland because the local and state government allowed the techies to take over that pushed black folks way out in the suburbs.

A lot of gentrification happens in blue cities and states. We know the GOP does not give a damn about black people. But the left has just been as culpable in disenfranchising us as well. That's what a lot of ya'll fail to acknowledge.

Both parties have failed us.
