This guy could be a huge pickup for Jackson State, selected them over "virtually" every SWAC school. I'm willing to peg him as a weekend starter as a freshman. Is that too much to expect?

At Holy Cross, Gray made All-District for two straight years. He hit .370 this past season for the Tigers while going 7-3 with a 2.00 earned run average with 80 strikeouts and only 25 walks issued. The Tigers reached the 4A quarterfinals in the state playoffs in 2009. Gray is currently pitching for the Holy Cross-based Ponstein's American Legion team, sporting a 3-1 record.
