Make it plain young man...make it plain...LOL
Not trying to defend him ,but it's probably more an addiction/ illness. I really dislike casinos & completely passed on sports betting. Gambling is not my thing( outside of a few lottery tickets) , but it's sad how people get caught up in addictions. What a dumb ass. Threw away a career for gambling. And could face federal charges.
Very good point man. I shouldn't have called him a dumbass without thinking about that. That could be very true. Not trying to defend him ,but it's probably more an addiction/ illness. Gambling addictions have devastated my family. My parents almost lost their house and I had two uncles lose their families. Not trying to defend him ,but it's probably more an addiction/ illness. I respectfully disagree.Sports gambling advertisements are everywhere all day now. You can't escape it.
Watching any game, whether pro or college (or one of the sports networks), you will be inundated with sports betting commercials from DraftKings, Fanduel, etc. And even when you're not watching a game, many ads are on your social media feeds, public billboards, transit vehicles, and elsewhere. I live in a state where sports betting has just become legal, and many TV commercials promote it daily.I respectfully disagree.
You are absolutely correct. I do not disagree with any of this. Maybe I misunderstood what you meant when you said, "you can't escape it".Watching any game, whether pro or college (or one of the sports networks), you will be inundated with sports betting commercials from DraftKings, Fanduel, etc. And even when you're not watching a game, many ads are on your social media feeds, public billboards, transit vehicles, and elsewhere. I don’t have a problem with sports betting… its when you bet on your own team to LOSE.. that I see the problem.
